Cpanel Tutorial - How To Edit Your Files Using the Cpanel File Manager

1. Login to your cpanel
2. Click File Manager located on Files Category.
3 After clicking File Manager, it will open to a new window or new tab.
4.Once you are on the File Manager area, you can see some folder and files located there. This is your root directory. To access your files inside your root directory, double click the globe icon or the icon where it says public_html.

5.Once you are in there, right click the file you want to edit. In this example, I'm going to show you how open and edit the index.php file.

6.After right clicking on the file you want to edit, a pop up will appear. You can either choose Edit to edit it as normal text or Code Edit to edit it as html coder format. In this example, I'm going to choose Edit.

7.After clicking or choosing Edit, a popup window will appear and it will look like the image below. Then click Edit and again, it will open to a new tab or window showing the codes for that page. You may start editing your codes but remember, "ALWAYS DO A BACKUP" before editing any files.

I'm trying to figure out how we get our urls for images and website since they no longer show up.????

I am having same problem I can't even get my web sites to show.
All work is showing a 404 web page error.

Looking forward to having this all finished.
